Calligraphy Scarf – Design Club
Calligraphy Scarf – Design Club
The Calligraphy Scarf was created during the Calligraphy Scarf Design Club, led by Yasmine van Maasakker of Maravilla Studios. Participants (young people aged 15–20) learned various calligraphy pen techniques and each designed their own letter. They combined these into a graphic print and, during the final class, had the opportunity to screen-print them themselves at the Mesh Print Club.
The scarves were made by Design Club participants Lana Asiedua, Foudia Camara, Bo De Bruin, Lura Willemse, Zeb Van den Broek, Zélia Willemse and Ana Rasevic.
Dimensions: approx. 50 × 50 cm
Objects created in the Design Club are unique and handmade. Participants receive a 20% royalty on their designs. The remaining proceeds flow back into the project, allowing us to organize a new Design Club every month.
